Unfortunately there will be no Mud Fest at Pot House this Sunday. At the briefing meeting last night we did not have enough entries to justify running the event. We would like to thank the 17 entrants, who came to the meeting, for their support. A few of these vehicles were not ready and doubtful for Sunday which meant we risked running an event with 12 or 13 entries. Considering the level of investment and the logistical coordination involved with running this event we felt it best to re-group and focus on the May 1st event.

This decision was made jointly by the Mud Dogs sub-committee and our sponsor, Castrol. We again wish to thank Castrol for their support and it has been agreed that they will now sponsor our August Mud Fest which will hopefully generate much more support.

We believe positive can be taken from this and with one month before our MAY DAY MUD FEST, all of our efforts will be focussed on this event and efforts will be made to rectify our short comings. I am confident with the understanding and committment shown by those who attended the meeting that the May event will be a huge success.

Many thanks,

Leslie Alleyne
