So the time has come to start raising funds and working towards a home for skateboarders. We will be doing a series of fundraising events through the end of August. Saturday, Aug. 9th(This Weekend)~ Kick-Off Party@ Mojos~ ***ALL AGES EVENT*** Live Music & Good Food
- Time Schedule: Doors Open @5pm/ Food: 6pm-8pm/ Music: 6:30pm-8:30pm
- Annoucements: Details on Skatepark Goals, More Info on Block Party Event Series, Details on progress of Skateboarding Association, etc.
- Dinner Passes $30/ inc. meal & 2 Drinks(from selected list)
- Please PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE @ Irie One Skateshop(Tues-Sat) so we can gauge how much food to prepare and ease the kitchen staff
Sunday, Aug. 17th~ 2-n-1 Skate Contest@ Bottom of Rendezvous Hill, Ch Ch~ Under 16 & Open Divisions~ Food, Drinks, and Entertainment
- Time: 12pm-6pm
- In the Car Park behind the Shell Station(Worthing, Ch Ch)
- Prizes for: Best Trick, Lord of the Lines, Game of S.K.A.T.E(Under 16), Game of S.K.A.T.E(Open)
- Skate Demo w/ Irie One Skateshop & Esquared Movement
- Skate Entry: $10 / Contest Entry: $25/event(inc.skate entry fee)
Saturday, Aug 23rd~ BBQ @ the Ramp~ Music, Food and Good Times
Bring the whole family... Take a dip in the sea or simply enjoy the food and the skating...
Saturday, Aug. 30th~ VIDEO CONTEST@ MOJOS~ All Ages Event
- Doors Open@ 5pm/ Food: 6pm-8pm/ Video Showing/Judging 6:30pm-7:30pm
- Compile your best footie from the event series and enter to win...
- Show up before 6:30pm and be eligible to vote
